Why does the price for an item in the list view sometimes not match the price in the web view?

Our vendors provide us with pricing data at varying intervals, so occasionally this will generate a mismatch between the price in our database and the actual cost of the item, if its price has been recently changed. When in doubt, the web price is correct!

I bought a book for a friend but they already own it. How can they return it?
